Twenty 20 as a game has finally emerged now and there are many tournaments which are played with the 20 - 20 format . IPL is one of the famous competition which is known in most parts of the world. There are many positives and negatives.there is lot of money involved in the ipl nowadays so that there is no lack in controversies in the recent past.


There are many franchisees which are involved in the ipl and most of them are interested in making money . Though there are many local talents who are emerging during the ipl. At the end of the day cricket is just a game ,every game should have some dignity .Instead of keeping the dignity of cricket,what did ipl do? Late night parties,cheer girls,match fixing. allegations continues.

Some say ipl gives chance for people to earn money,but the truth is "ipl gives chance for people who have money to earn money".


Ipl has many positives for Indian cricket,it has brought many talents to Indian cricket.Now a days ipl is becoming popular.There are many positives and negatives in ipl,bit of changes in the ipl will make it more interesting and useful for the Indian cricket players and the emerging players.BCCI should govern it instead of selecting individual persons like modi , Rajeev Shukla.The duration of the ipl should be shortened so that it will reduce the fatigue for the players , match mixing part should be removed and some panels should be present to stop match fixing.Instead of having four foreign players its better if we have 3 or 2 foreign players in the playing xl so that it will give more opportunity for the INDIAN players .


Because of the ipl the cricketers from the smallest of towns in India have shown tremendous display of talent and character and they are making the optimum usage of the opportunity to interact with the worlds finest players.some of the Indian players have shined in the ipl and were given chances in the international level . ipl should be used in the best way for improving the playing conditions and player levels. But nowadays players prefer ipl over the national duties and its a big shame . Its all because of the amount of money which is invested in the ipl .

According to the survey taken by Federation of International Cricketers' Associations 32% of players said they would retire prematurely from international cricket to play only in IPL and similar T20 leagues.more over there are many injuries which are carried by players and they are preferring ipl more than national duties and it increases their fatigue .

If the indian cricket team has to win in the overseas the pitches in india should be changed and lots of grass and pace should be added so that it will be more helpful for youngsters to adapt to the conditions . This does not mean to avoid cricket. When we are watching matches of our own cricket team it awakes national spirit in our mind. In IPL our team is splitting and fighting against each other.

Thus to conclude with, though IPL has huge entertainment value associated with itself it is very important that team spirit and "playing for the nation" attitude is maintained. If money is given is more importance then IPL would act like a curse to Cricket.
